So WVU had the ball. Nova commits a defensive foul away from the ball right before a WVU player nails a 3 pointer. The refs talk it over...count the 3 pointer and give WVU a 1 & 1 foul shot to the player who was fouled near the paint, giving West Virginia a 5 point play opportunity. To make matters worse the refs actually reviewed the call on a television screen and still didn't realize what they were doing. Not to mention the announcers didn't seem to be questioning the call or even mentioning the "5 point opportunity" (which i've never seen in years of watching basketball) Anyway Nova is now blowing a huge lead, this couldn't have be the correct call right?

I never heard of anything like that.. Waiting to see it on ESPN and see if they have a better ruling
