I'm not arguing that Kobe won this award because he should probably have three or four MVP trophies on his mantel at this point. As the NBA's best player over the last 12 years, it is inexcusable that he hadn't won the award, so that is why he won it. But, I really think that Chris Paul should have won the award. He led a pretty amazing turnaround for a Hornets team that has a solid supporting cast but isn't exactly stocked with talent. And in the playoffs, I think we've seen that this guy is good enough to take a series over. Here's to several MVP trophies in CP3's future. |
