Opening Line:  Ball State  -5.5 , Total 65.5

A bowl berth could be on the line Tuesday night as Ball State hosts Toledo in MAC action. The conference has three bowl bids, the Motor City Bowl, the International Bowl, and the GMAC Bowl. Central Michigan wrapped up the West Division and one of the spots but the other two berths are open. The winner of Tuesday’s game will probably need another win but the loser is probably out. Ball State would seem to have the edge since a win on Tuesday would have them playing at a weak Northern Illinois team to end the season. Even if Toledo wins they still have to play at a tough Bowling Green squad to end the season. SBG Global reports that early college football betting has the public taking Ball State at Home.

Toledo is playing their best football of the season. The Rockets have scored 165 points in their current three-game winning streak. Sophomore QB Aaron Opelt has looked great recently. He has thrown for 867 yards and seven touchdowns with no interceptions in the last three games.
Ball State has had very little luck this season and easily could have a better record. They lost by a one point to Miami and by one point at Nebraska. QB Nate Davis has thrown for 2,785 yards and 22 TDs this year. Wide receiver Dante Love has caught 73 passes and has 7 TD’s.

SBG Global Current Line: Ball State -6 (-115) , Total 66.5 (-105)
