Opening Line: LSU -7.5 , Total 48
The two top teams in the SEC West battle on Saturday as Alabama hosts LSU. The game is highly anticipated for many reasons, not the least of which is that it is the first time Alabama head coach Nick Saban will be facing his former team. "The focus on the game should be about the players, not about anything else,' Saban said. The Tigers are ranked #3 in the country while Alabama comes in at #18. SBG Global reports that early betting has the public taking LSU on the Road.
Saban led LSU to the 2003 National Championship but left under poor circumstances to coach the Miami Dolphins. Many at LSU still feel betrayed by Saban. "I've been hearing it ever since he took the job here,' Alabama receiver Matt Caddell said, "That's probably been the biggest story of the year ever since he took the job. We're not going to let that be a factor with us. We're just going to go out there and do what we have to do.”
