Opening Line:  Kansas -6 , Total 66.5

The Kansas Jayhawks will try and remain unbeaten as they take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys on Saturday. Kansas has moved up to 5th in the rankings and is looking like a serious national title contender. They still have a tough road ahead though. They face the Cowboys on Saturday and still must face Missouri and then if they win, Oklahoma in the Big 12 title game. What is making people take notice is last week’s 76-39 shellacking of Nebraska. Quarterback Todd Reesing threw a school-record six touchdown passes and Brandon McAnderson tied a school mark with four rushing TD’s "People continue to look at the past history, and the past records teams have had against us,' Reesing said, "That has no effect on us. It's a whole new season. You can't just look in the past. Our team doesn't. We're a whole new team.” SBG Global reports that early college football betting has the public taking Kansas on the Road.

Kansas is second on the country in scoring at 46.2 points per game. Kansas also leads the Big 12 in total defense and scoring defense. They also have the memory of last year’s 42-32 loss to Oklahoma State. Kansas has lost five straight in the series. Oklahoma State may provide an interesting test for the Jayhawks. The Cowboys had Texas beaten last week before collapsing late and losing 38-35. "As painful as it is, we still have to correct everything that happened in the game to make us better for the next week and then get back on track," Cowboys coach Mike Gundy said. "The one thing that will work to our advantage this week is it's not every day you get to play a team that's fifth in the BCS or whatever they are. I would think that our players would be excited about playing at team that's as highly regarded as they are." Oklahoma State has the third best offense in the Big 12, averaging 499.3 yards per game. The problem for the Cowboys is the defense, which is second worst in the Big 12 giving up 448.3 yards per game.
