The big question in Friday night’s game between 16th ranked Hawaii and San Jose State will be whether or not Hawaii quarterback Colt Brennan will play. Tyler Graunke may get the start for Hawaii as Brennan is dealing with an ankle injury. SBG Global reports that early betting has the public taking the favored Hawaii on the Road.
Graunke had to finish for Brennan in the last game against Utah State and may have to play on Friday night against San Jose State. "It's been frustrating the last couple of weeks - feeling not right," said Brennan, "(But) we're 6-0 and we're rolling and I'm fine with that." Graunke completed his first nine passes for 246 yards and finished 9 for 11. "I always known that he could play," Hawaii coach June Jones said of Graunke. "I'm proud of him."
San Jose State has won three in a row after losing their first three games. "It feels good to be at .500," San Jose State quarterback Adam Tafralis said, "We need to get it going for Hawaii." Hawaii has won the last six games against San Jose State.
