The Super Seven finished 3-4 on the week and looked spooked heading into Halloween. The overall record for the NCAA Super Seven is 28-27-1 and still hovering above .500. This week should be full of tricks and not treats for Halloween! Â

1)Â Thursday October 29th: North Carolina @ Virginia Tech
These teams are now strangers to the Thursday night spotlight. North Carolina played last week and gave the game up to Florida St. That is the kind of heart breaking loss that will define a season. Tech is great under the spotlight as they have won 14 of its last 17 Thursday tests ATS. The Hokies are 12-6 following a bye and 5-0 ATS versus an opponent with revenge off a SU loss. The Tar Heels are 2-10 ATS off a SU loss as a favorite versus an opponent with a win percentage over .700. Virginia Tech has won five straight against UNC since joining the ACC. North Carolina just does not have an offense to keep up with the Hokies.Â
Play: VT -16.5Â
2)Â Friday October 30th: West Virginia @ South Florida
South Florida has been a tough play in the last few weeks. They were crushed by Pittsburgh last week and have been reeling. West Virginia is off a very tough and emotional win against the Huskies and they will be flat on Friday. The Bulls have bounced back to cover 18 of 30 following a straight up loss and they are 6-1 ATS after scoring 17pts or less in back-to-back games. The Bulls get the outright win on Friday night. Â
 Play: South Florida +3.5Â
3)Â Saturday October 31st: Cincinnati @ Syracuse
The Bearcats were a bit nervous going into last week’s game against Louisville with Tony Pike but the responded in a big way and got a blowout win, but now be careful backing the Bearcats. Cincinnati has had a tough time as Big East road favorites, coming up short in 13 of 16 when giving up more than two points. Syracuse has covered 10 of 15 off a straight up win and seven straight at the Carrier Dome off a double-digit straight up success. Â
Play: Syracuse +14.5Â
4)Â Saturday October 31st: Georgia Vs Florida
The Florida gators keep squeaking out close wins when they place SEC opposition. They have to be on upset alert this week when they face off against Georgia. They are sick of all the hype and the fact that some fols think Alabama is the better team, look for Urban Meyer to unleash the dogs this weekend. Florida has won 16 of 19 meetings with Georgia and cashed at a 12-6-1 clip. The straight up winner is 23-3-1 in the last 27 confrontations. Look for a blow out win this week by the Gators.Â
Play: Florida -15 Â
5)Â Saturday October 31st: Texas @ Oklahoma St.
Texas is the number three team in the country and they are off very convincing wins over Oklahoma and Kansas. This is where they usually get let down since it is so hard to get up for a game every week in a very talented Big 12. The Longhorns are 2-9 ATS on the road off back-to-back straight up and against the spread victories. Oklahoma St has the offense to keep up with the longhorns and get the win. Â
Play: Oklahoma St +9Â
6)Â Saturday October 31st: San Jose St @ Boise St
Boise St is off a big win against Hawaii but it went unnoticed as TCU upset BYU and started to become the new media darling as the latest BCS buster. Now the Broncos have something to prove. The Broncos have covered 30 of 40 as conference home favorites. San Jose State, coming off a bye, lost last year’s meeting as seven-point home dogs, 33-16. The Spartans are 1-7 ATS with rest and revenge. They have failed to cover three of four at Boise, bowing by an average score of 53-12. Boise St becomes the biggest favorite ever to be played on the Super Seven.Â
Play: Boise St -35Â
7)Â Saturday October 31st: USC @ Oregon
This is the big game in the Pac-10. USC and Oregon both lost early to teams they thought they should have beaten. Now they face each other and the winner will stay in the top ten in the rest of the season barring a huge upset and the loser will be saddled with two losses and escorted out of the top ten. Oregon is 41-22 ATS off win by 17+ points and USC is 5-14 ATS in their last 19 games in October. The Ducks play great at home and will be ready to knock down the Trojans and pull off an upset!Â
Play: Oregon +3
