1) Wednesday October 14th: Boise St @ Tulsa

This looks like the last big challenge for Boise St to face on the way to upsetting the BCS and crashing the bowl party. Boise St. will not be ready for what is about to happen in the biggest game for Tulsa all season. The Golden Hurricane has beaten 17 of their last 18 opponents at Skelly Field and they have covered six of their last eight as home short-enders. They are also 8-1 at home when facing winning teams off a straight up win. Boise St is 1-10 ATS off a non-conference straight up victory. Finally someone shows up to play Boise and takes them to the wire.

2) Thursday October 15th: Cincinnati @ South Florida

It’s time to stick with the home team getting points in conference. They have been very profitable this year especially in prime time games. Both teams have looked great and have yet to lose in conference making for a very big game. The Bulls are 61-16 straight up and 22-14 ATS at Raymond James Stadium and they have passed eight of their last 11 conference tests at home ATS. This home field advantage will make all the difference when they take on the bearcats. This one is a close game fought to the end so the points become very valuable. Take the Bulls and the points.

3) Friday October 16th: Pittsburgh @ Rutgers

The theme this week is simple, its rivalry week and the home team and the points are always a good bet. The theory is that home teams are not expected to win and go all out, especially in conference to get a win. Rutgers lost to Cincinnati early in the season so this game becomes even more important if they want a shot at the title. Rutgers is 25-10-1 ATS in their last 36 games as an underdog and 10-4 ATS in the last fourteen as underdogs. The Panthers have struggled to a 2-5 ATS record in the last seven meetings and lose outright on Friday night!

4) Saturday October 17th: USC @ Notre Dame

The Trojans face off against the Irish and travel to South Bend this weekend. After all of that talk about taking the home team getting point sin a rivalry game it’s time to switch it up. USC is 14-3 ATS after taking a week off because no one prepares better for the opposition and a big game on the road like USC does. USC has outscored Notre Dame at a 41-14 clip since 2002 and the Trojans have come away with the cash in 10 of the past 13 meetings. The Irish are one dimensional and that will allow the USC defense to thrive and bring heat all day long. This is the beginning of the end for Charlie Weiss and the Irish get blown out at home.

5) Saturday October 17th: Texas Vs Oklahoma

My favorite of the big rivalry games as Texas takes on Oklahoma in Dallas this weekend. This game should have had much bigger expectations but Oklahoma has lost twice and they lost Sam Bradford for a couple of games along the way. With that in mind this is the big game for the Sooners. If they win this game it could make up for the losses and even vault them back into the rankings and earn them respect with a high spot. The underdog is 14-7 in the past 21 clashes between OU and Texas. The Sooners have won six of the last nine encounters (5-4 ATS).Sam Bradford gets the win and Texas falls short again.

6) Saturday October 17th: South Carolina @ Alabama

Alabama has one of the best defenses in the country and should go to the SEC Championship. With the win over Ole Miss the Tide proved the experts wrong pounding the Rebels after everyone called for a close game. The odds makers rewarded them with a 17 point line and that is too high. South Carolina has been a spoiler, grabbing the money in six of its last nine as road dogs, versus Top Ten teams. Coach Steve Spurrier's Gamecocks have also cashed at a 10-4-1 clip overall as road short-enders. Alabama has failed in 36 of 55 as favorites of 10 1/2 to 21 points and the Crimson Tide are just 9-22-2 ATS at home when facing a conference foe.The ole ball coach knows how to gethis kids up for a game.

7) Saturday October 17th: Virginia Tech @ Georgia Tech

Readers of the Super Seven know that this is one of my favorite spots to back a team. GT is off an upset outright win on the road as an underdog and they are coming home and are again an underdog. The Yellow Jackets have cashed 11 of their last 15 as single-digit dogs. They showed last week that they can ground pound with anyone in the country. VT has been a road warrior against the small number but they will get upset and blown out at GT. The Jackets sting the Hokies and pull the outright upset!
