The Super Seven had yet another week going 4-3 and this year has come out of the gate on a solid winning streak. The overall record now stands at 13-8 on the season. This week presents us with plenty of quality games and the Super Seven has all of the big games covered.
College Football Week 1 Picks: 4-3
College Football Week 2 Picks: 5-2
College Football Week 3 Picks: 4-3
Overall: 13-8

1) Thursday September 24th: Ole Miss @ South Carolina

I am not in the habit of taking road favorites on nationally televised games but the Rebels need to get big wins in games like this if they want a shot at the national title. The Rebels have cashed eight of their last nine after scoring more than 35 points. They have won four of their last five against South Carolina and know how to beat them. The home team has
come up short in the last five meetings ATS and the Rebels should cover the small number against Steve Spurrier and the Gamecocks.

Play: Ole Miss -3.5

2) Friday September 25th: Missouri @ Nevada

If you look at the trends for this game then everything points to Missouri winning in a big fashion. They have done well on the road, against the WAC, and outside of the Big 12 when it comes to covering the number. This is one of those games where other areas have to be looked at. Missouri is on a short week and is off a big win and will have no reason to get up for this game. They have a bye after this game and then play Nebraska. Nevada is at home on national television and in a season that looks to be going nowhere already a win could go a long way. They won’t win but they will keep it close.

 Play: Nevada +7

3) Saturday September 26th: Florida @ Kentucky

Florida is going to suffer some letdown this week. Even days after the game they are still talking about the game against Tennessee and the team is still getting over the flu. The Wildcats are 18-10 as double-digit dogs in conference play and 8-4 in their last dozen as home pups. The Gators have won the last seven series encounters but are only 2-5 ATS while flopping in five of six as double-digit chalk. Florida is 1-7 as conference road favorites of more than 12 points off a SU win. The Gators have also dropped seven straight spread decisions the week after facing the Volunteers. Kentucky makes this close for Gator fans, too close. Take the cats and the points.

Play: Kentucky +21.5

4) Saturday September 26th: TCU @ Clemson

For TCU this will be the second trip to the East to take on a team. They survived the first game but they will stumble in Death Valley one of the toughest places to play in college football.TCU is notorious for falling flat in the second road game of the season where they are just 2-11 ATS in the last 13 games. Clemson is starting to put it together and will get a big win at home here.

Play: Clemson -3

5)  Saturday September 26th: Arkansas @ Alabama

Alabama crushed a weaker opponent last week and the Hogs of Arkansas were trampled in a game they were favored to win in. This game just became very big for Arkansas if they want to stay in the hunt for the SEC but winning against Alabama is a tall order. Arkansas has prospered as double-digit conference underdogs, cashing six of eight. The home team is 5-10 ATS in the last 15 showdowns, dropping the last four. The poiit spread is just too high and the Hogs can keep it close.

Play: Arkansas +17

6) Saturday September 26th: Miami Fl @ Virginia Tech

Miami Florida is making some noise in the college football world as they are jumping up the polls after starting the season 2-0 against two ranked opponents. They will not be able to get that same level of intensity against the Hokies. Miami has been unable to take advantage of prosperity in the past, dropping nine of 10 spread decisions after back-to-back SU and ATS wins. The Hokies have won 34 of their last 43 when facing Atlantic
Coast Conference foes and 'covered' 29 of the 43. This is the best defense that Miami has faced and the Hokies will be ready.

Play: Virginia Tech +3

7) Saturday September 26th: California @ Oregon

The Pac-10 is making some noise this year and with USC losing the conference is wide open. Oregon had a nice win against Utah and usually this is a prime letdown spot but after losing to Boise, they know they cannot afford to lose in this game. Oregon has covered 18 of its last 22 Pac-10 openers. The Golden Bears are 0-5 ATS when playing the second of back-to-back games on the highway. Four of the last six series scrapes have been decided by a touchdown or less. I will take the points and the better team in Oregon.

Play: Oregon +5
