Texas A&M gets the invite to the Independence Bowl although they just finished the season at 6-6. They had a very tough season and were just 1-3 on the road. The only game they played well this year seemed to be against Texas on national television.
Georgia had a tough season but playing in the SEC that can be expected by most teams as Florida and Alabama were some of the best in the country. The Bulldogs ended the season on a high note taking down the Georgia Tech Yellow jackets in impressive fashion. The Bulldogs have been a tough bet this year and in previous years costing players some cash but that will change in bowl games as they are 8-3 ATS in the last 11 bowl encounters.
A&M just does not have the talent to keep up with this Bulldog team. The Bulldogs are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 neutral site games and will travel well and have a solid fan base to cheer them on. The Aggies are 2-7-1 ATS in their last 10 games as an underdog of 3.5-10.0, 1-5 ATS in their last 6 Bowl games, and 0-5 ATS in their last 5 neutral site games. Take the Bulldogs to win big in this game.
