Memphis is flying high at home after a big win over the Celtics. This proves they can play with the big boys and now they will get a chance to show the home crowd.  The Nuggets are 4-13 ATS in their last 17 games as a favorite of 0.5-4.5 and the Grizzlies are 13-3 ATS in their last 16 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. The Grizzlies will get back to back huge wins!

The loss to Memphis at home was the worst loss of the season for the Celtics. The fans were booing all game and left in the third quarter. If a loss could ever motivate a team this is it. The Suns are making a move in the NBA rankings in the west and to get a better seed they will need wins like this one. The Jazz have had troubles on the road and they should take the Jazz down. The Suns are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games as a favorite and win this game big tonight! 

3/2: Oklahoma City -10.5 2 units

The Thunder may have lost the big winning streak but they are showing the league they are one of the best. They way to continue to do this is to beat the teams they are supposed to beat. The Thunder is 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games as a favorite and they will beat up on a Kings team that has just 5 road wins this season.  

2/23: OKC -7 1 unit

Besides Utah there may not be a team playing better right now then the Thunder. They have won nine straight and Durant and Westbrook are looking like the best one-two punch in the league. The Suns are under .500 on the road and are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games following a win of more than 10 points. The Thunder are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games vs. a team with a winning record and win and cover the number again.  

2/19: Dallas +6 2 units

The Mavericks are getting comfortable with the new additions to the team and Caron Butler is looking good. Heywood will be the key player when they take on the Magic and they need some size inside. The Magic are 5-11 ATS in their last 16 games following an ATS win and the underdog is 5-0 ATS in the last 5 meetings. Dallas is going to put a good streak of wins together and starts in Orlando on Friday. Play the Mavericks plus the points.

2/16: Kings +5.5 3 units

The Celtics saw a few teams deal for key players but they have yet to do anything. Until they do they will still be old and in a funk. Traveling to the West Coast will not make anything easier for the Celtics. The Celtics are 9-25 ATS in their last 34 games as a favorite of 5.0-10.5 and 4-11 ATS in their last 15 games vs. a team with a winning % below .400. They play down to their opponent and could get upset in the first game back from the break.  

2/9: Pacers -1.5 2 units

the Bulls head oout onto the road where they are just 9-17 this year as they limp to the break. The Bulls are in a tough spot with problems with Thomas and his attitude and an injury to Deng. The Pacers are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games following a S.U. loss and the Bulls are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 road games vs. a team with a losing home record. Take the Pacers to blow out the Bulls at home.

2/8: New Orleans +7.5 1 unit

the Hornets have been going through a tough year with as many injuries as they have faced but they are in a good spot tonight against the Magic. The Magic are off a huge win against the Celtics and play in a back to back spot while the Hornets have rest. The Hornets are 14-5 ATS in their last 19 games vs. a team with a winning record and the Magic are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 vs. NBA Southwest. Take the Hornets and the points.

2/2: Cleveland -10.5 5 units

Double digit chalk is not always a healthy way to bet basketball but in certain situations it is warranted. Memphis is off a huge win and played some serious minutes with their starters and that is a good fade spot. The Grizzlies are 7-19 ATS in their last 26 games when their starting 5 players combine for more than 160 minutes of the previous day. The favorite is 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings and the chalk gets the cover again tonight.

2/1: Boston -3 2 units

Road chalk is not the best way to go when betting pro hoops, but the Celtics really need this game. With losses to the Hawks and the Lakers the Celtics have to be worried. The Celtics thrive in this spot as they are 16-7-1 ATS in their last 24 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of less than .400. The Wizards are 9-24 ATS in their last 33 games following an ATS win and the Celtics will take it to them.

1/29: Hawks -4 1 unit

If the Hawks have played well against team this year it has been the Celtics. Now they get the Celtics in travel mode in back to back nights off a tough loss. The Celtics are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games playing on 0 days rest and KG is still a bit gimpy. The Hawks are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games following a straight up loss and the home team is 10-4 ATS in the last 14 meetings look for the Hawks to keep the winning edge against Boston.

1/27: Spurs -3.5 5 units

The Spurs are in a tail spin and there has been much talk about how they had a closed door meeting to address the problems on the team. In come the high flying hawks and if the Spurs ever needed to play defense that time is now. This will be a good team for the Spurs to rebound against as the Hawks are 5-12-1 ATS in the last 18 meetings.  The Spurs are 8-1 ATS in their last 9 vs. NBA Southeast and get focused and take out the Hawks.

1/26: Knicks -6.5 3 units

Nothing wakes a team up like getting embarrassed. The Knicks lost by the biggest margin ever getting drubbed by 50 points at home and thankfully host the lowly Wolves. The Timberwolves are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 road games and the Knicks are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games following a straight up loss of more than 10 points. The Knicks respond very well after a blowout and will get the win tonight! 

1/22: Celtics -10 1 unit

The Celtics are playing very bad basketball yet they are getting key players back and are a surprising 10 point favorite over the Blazers. The Trail Blazers are 1-8 ATS in the last 9 meetings and are 0-4 ATS in the last 4 meetings in Boston.  The Celtics need to put an impressive win together and will do it tonight against the Blazers.

1/20: Golden St +5.5 4 units Win

The Nuggets are a very good home team but when it comes to playing on the road they struggle. The Warriors play the same type of basketball game and this leads to close games. The first meeting was decided by one point and this will be a close one too. The Nuggets are 1-5-1 ATS in their last 7 games as a favorite and the Warriors are 40-12-2 ATS in their last 54 games as a home underdog. Take the home team and the points.

1/18: Grizzlies -2 1 unit Win

The schedule can be one of the biggest factors when handicapping hoops because teams will get very tired at the end of a road trip. The Suns are on the end of a road trip and have played 4 games in six days. Memphis has won 8 of ten and just beat the Spurs. They are playing great basketball and should topple the Suns. The Grizzlies are 10-3-1 ATS in their last 14 games overall and 18-7-1 ATS in their last 26 home games. Take the Grizzlies.

1/16: Grizzlies -1.5 2 units Win

The Spurs hit the end of a long road trip and it was evident in the game last night against the Bobcats that this team is getting tired and fading down the stretch. The Spurs are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and 0-8 ATS in their last 8 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600. Take the Grizzlies to cover the small number at home. 

1/15: Dallas -5 5 unit Loss

Dallas got beat by a short-handed Laker team and they still have yet to really figure out the Lakers. They will take out their frustrations on OKC. The Thunder is 0-4 ATS in their last 4 vs. NBA Southwest and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The Mavericks get a big win at home to help recover after a big loss. 

1/13: Pacers +3.5 2 units Win

The Pacers are not in the same league as the Suns but they are finally healthy again and get the Suns at the start of a road trip.  The Suns are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 vs. NBA Central and the Pacers are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games vs. a team with a winning record. The Pacers will be able to keep this close enough and don’t be surprised if they get the upset. 

1/11: Boston -3.5 2 units Loss

The Celtics get a quick turnaround to get revenge against the Hawks for a loss that they had in Atlanta just three nights ago. The home court advantage has made all the difference in this rivalry. The home team is 10-3 ATS in the last 13 meetings and the Hawks are 2-5 ATS in the last 7 meetings in Boston. Take the C’s to get revenge. 

1/10: Raptors -1 3 units Loss

The Celtics have been attempting to win without many of their key players out with injury. They have stumbled on the road and are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games. They will look past a Raptors team they have owned as late and get caught napping. The Raptors are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games overall and 5-1 ATS in the last six home games. Take the Raptors at home to win and cover the small number.

The Sixers will get the Raptors in a good spot because they are fresh off a huge upset win over the reeling Magic. The Raptors fail in that spot as they are 18-37-1 ATS in their last 56 after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game. The Home team is 5-2-1 ATS in the last 8 meetings and get the win tonight. 

1/6: Oklahoma City -5 3 units Loss

OKC is playing great basketball this year and unless things go horribly wrong they will make the playoffs. The Hornets are going in the opposite direction and are one of the worst road teams in the NBA. They are off an upset win in Salt Lake City and will have some letdown. The Hornets are 7-23 ATS in their last 30 games as a road underdog of 5.0-10.5 and the favorite is 13-5 ATS in the last 18 meetings. Take the Thunder minus the points to beat the bugs. 

1/4: Bulls -1.5 4 units Loss

The schedule always plays an important role in the NBA and for right now it’s not nice to the young guys from the Thunder. This is the five games in seven nights and they are coming off an overtime game. They had a home game sandwiched in between a road trip and will be sluggish for this game. The Bulls are 16-6-2 ATS in their last 24 vs. Western Conference and the Thunder are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games playing on 1 days rest. Look for a big win by the Bulls over the fading Thunder.

1/2: Bucks -1 3 units Win

The Bucks got a wake up call last game as some of the starters were benched after an embarrassing loss at home. Now they are well rested and face a Thunder team that has been traveling for awhile and should be ready to get home. The Thunder are 2-5 ATS in the last 7 games with just one day rest and the home teams is 10-2 ATS. Take the Bucks to blast the Thunder in this game.
