East Carolina got 21 points from Akeem Richmond and another 15 points from Paris Roberts-Campbell. Miguel Paul contributed 11 assists, while Maurice Kemp cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.

Tulane got 23 points from Josh Davis in a losing cause and another 20 points from Ricky Tarrant. Ricky Tarrant contributed 8 assists for them, while Josh Davis had 16 rebounds.

First-half bettors who backed Tulane were victorious, as the score was 41-40 at the break.

The rebound battle favored Tulane as they grabbed 38 boards, while East Carolina only had 22.
