Kentucky vs Vanderbilt Final: 74-70 - Recap

Kentucky grabbed a 74-70 win over Vanderbilt on Wednesday, behind a 20-point effort from Willie Cauley-Stein at Rupp Arena.

Kentucky did not, however, defeat Vanderbilt against the spread, which closed at 11 at most sportsbooks.

Kentucky got 16 points from Archie Goodwin and another 12 points from Ryan Harrow. Julius Mays contributed 6 assists, while Willie Cauley-Stein cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.

Vanderbilt got 17 points from Kedren Johnson in a losing cause and another 16 points from Rod Odom. Kedren Johnson contributed 7 assists for them, while Dai-Jon Parker had 7 rebounds.

First-half bettors who backed Kentucky were victorious, as the score was 42-34 at the break.

Kentucky had a 36-30 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
