Mercer Falls 69-40 to Denver - Recap
The battle between Denver and Mercer didnt turn out to be much of a battle at all as Mercer was handed a 69-40 defeat on Wednesday at Magness Arena.
Royce O'Neale had 22 points for Denver and Chris Udofia chipped in with 14 points. Jalen Love had 5 assists for them, while Chase Hallam was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 5 boards.
Mercer got a 11-point performance from Daniel Coursey, who was supported by 7 points from Langston Hall. Jakob Gollon had 2 assists in a losing cause for Mercer, while Monty Brown grabbed 4 rebounds.
Denver hit the break leading 33-19 before taking care of business in the second half.
Denver won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 31-26.
