The North Carolina Tar Heels may get their first real test of the season on Tuesday night as they travel to take on Ohio State. The Buckeyes have won six of their last seven games against teams ranked No. 1 in the nation. Ohio State is participating in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge for the fifth-consecutive year and has a 1-4 record in the event. Ohio State is in a stretch of playing five games over a span of 11 days. SBG Global reports that early NCAA Basketball betting has the public taking North Carolina on the Road.
North Carolina could be playing without staring guard Ty Lawson again on Tuesday. He is listed as questionable for the game. North Carolina is led by forward Tyler Hansbrough who is averaging 23 points per game. The Tar Heels have been outrebounded in back-to-back games for the first time since late last season. Last season North Carolina was outrebounded in just five games and lost four of those. The Tar Heels are looking forward to the test against the Buckeyes. "For us as coaches it's not the same kind of thing as it is in the ACC office or for our fans,” North Carolina head coach Roy Williams said, “It's a big-time deal, it really is, and we like to play in those big-time games. But some of us play in a lot of big-time games."
