Ninth ranked Duke is 11-1 on the season but head coach Mike Krzyzewski is not pleased with his team’s play of late. It doesn’t help that starting center Brian Zoubek is out indefinitely after breaking his left foot. "This is a setback for Brian and for the team," Krzyzewski said. "He worked hard to recover from the injury over the summer and was beginning to solidify his role with the team. We have total confidence that Brian will recover from the injury and return as soon as he is physically able." Zoubek was averaging 4.3 points and 3.7 rebounds per game. Duke also lost swingman Martynas Pocius who had season-ending ankle surgery Tuesday. He was averaging 4 points and 2.5 rebounds per game.

"Scoring 32 points and losing doesn't mean anything," said Christmas, "I would have felt better if I had scored two points in a win." Last year Christmas had a team-high 15 points against Duke but the Owls lost 73-55.
