Connecticut will try to get revenge against Providence for a loss against the Friars in January as the two teams meet on Thursday. Since that loss to the Friars, the Huskies have been rolling while the Friars have slumped. Connecticut is looking to move into the Top 10 in the country while Providence is just trying to qualify for the Big East Tournament. SBG Global reports that early NCAA Basketball betting has the public taking Connecticut on the Road

In mid-January Connecticut lost at home 77-65 to Providence but has won 12 of 13 games since. The Huskies now have a first-round bye in the conference tournament, and they are battling Notre Dame for the third seed. "As the games are won, we're becoming more and more confident, feeding off each other, and we're learning to play with each other much better as the game goes along," Huskies guard Craig Austrie said. The Huskies are coming off a 79-71 win over West Virginia on Saturday. A.J. Price scored 24 points while Jeff Adrien had 17 points and 10 rebounds. "We know how good we are," Price said. "We know what we have here. We know if we stay true to what we do, we're going to win. It's just staying mentally tough." The Huskies have won five of their last six on the road, and are unbeaten in their last four visits to Providence.
