**Limited Analysis Over New Years** This is a huge game for the 49ers. Win and they are the No. 2 seed in the AFC. I don't think people understand how important it is for San Francisco to play at home. It will likely be the difference in playing the Saints at home instead of on the road. St Louis has nothing to play for, and I just can't see them getting motivated to play this game, especially against a team as physical as the 49ers. I look for San Francisco to completely shut down the Rams offense and easily cover the 10.5-point spread. BET THE 49ers -10.5!
