Coach Randy Edsall put the Connecticut program on the map, and he's not about to go down to the program that he built.

After taking his lumps in his first season in College Park, Edsall has the Terrapins off to a 2-0 start. Keep in mind the Terps weren't as bad as last year's record leads you to believe. They put up 31 on West Virginia while giving the Mountaineers all they wanted and more. They played Georgia Tech to a 5-point game. They also put up 45 while losing a shootout to Clemson. Maryland's offense is more explosive than UConn's, and I believe that will be the difference.

Because Maryland is coming off an impressive upset win at Temple, the knee jerk reaction might be to think the Terps are in for a letdown here. No chance. Teams coached by Edsall are 10-1 ATS at home all-time following an upset win. They haven't just won in this situation, they've won by an average score of 33.5 to 17.1.
