This is a classic ACC vs. SEC match-up that will work in the favor of the stronger conference. The ACC is one of the most overrated conferences in the land, while the SEC is clearly the strongest conference in the country. Just ask Mississippi State, which played one of the toughest schedules in the land out of the SEC West.

The Bulldogs lost six games this season. Those six losses came to Auburn, LSU, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama and Arkansas. Five of those six teams are currently ranked, and Auburn was ranked at the time they played them.

How did Wake Forest fare against the SEC this season? The Demon Deacons played Vanderbilt in their season finale, losing 7-41 at home. I expect a similar blowout today in the Music City Bowl as Mississippi State proves to be too much for Wake. The Bulldogs have a very similar team to the Commodores.
