The Rams were kicked in Indianapolis last week, but that won't keep me off them here. They are a perfect 3-0 SU and ATS in their last 3 (5-1 SU and ATS in

their last 6) NFL preseason home games against the Chiefs.

Kansas City has been one of the worst preseason investments for a long time. It is just 28-49 ATS in its last 77 preseason games. It's also 13-30 ATS in its

last 43 preseason games when the line is +3 to -3 and 2-11 ATS in its last 13 preseason dome games.

I'm not sold on KC signal caller Matt Cassel or what's behind him. I like the combination of Sam Bradford, Kellen Clemens and company a lot more.

The Chiefs were hit hard by injuries to key players last season, perhaps costing them the division. They believe they are a contender in the AFC West, while

the Rams are building. Because of this, the Chiefs don't have as much incentive to win. A win this week, after last week's disappointing performance, would

mean a lot more to this young Rams' squad. I believe the Rams will want this game more.
