Diamondbacks over Pirates- There is a number of things that bother me about this contest and it's 'price.' The Pittsburgh Pirates not only have a 6 ½ game lead overt Arizona for the Wild Card spot but they also have the best home record in major league baseball (33-16) and yet they are an underdog in this contest. Pitching may be the key to this line being what it is as the Diamondbacks start unheralded rookie Wade Miley (12-6, 2.98 ERA) against the Pirates Eric Bedard (5-12, 4.83 ERA). Bedard has struggled of late going 1-6 in his last eight starts and he was pounded for nine runs in his last start. Tonight, take ARIZONA!
