Indians over Orioles- Surprising;y both these clubs are still in the AL Wild Card hunt as each has led their respective divisions early this season. They are both over-achievers as they have been out-scored by their opponents yet have a winning record. Baltimore will send right-hander Miguel Gonzalez (1-1, 2.59 ERA) against Cleveland's veteran All-Star righty in Derek Lowe (8-7, 4.43 ERA). Lowe is 8-8 lifetime against the Orioles but has no decisions in his last three starts against them while this is Gonzalez's first start against Cleveland appearing once against them in relief on July 1st. One odd trend that might effect this contest is that Baltimore has lost six consecutive series openers and Cleveland has won the last five times Lowe started the first game of a series. I don't know if that really means much but I will not buck at trend. Take the INDIANS!
