Pirates over Astros- The Pittsburgh Pirates haven't had a winning season in 20 years yet find themselves six games over .500 on July 2nd as youth has served them well. Houston unlike the Pirates is headed in the opposite direction having lost four straight including being swept by the lowly Chicago Cubs. Hard to believe at this time that the Pirates are just one game behind Cincinnati in the NL Central as they start this four game home series.
