Today's winner is San Antonio over Los Angeles. This is my 100 Star Game of the Year.

The injuries to both Chris Paul and Blake Griffen seem to worse than we are led to believe. Particularly Paul's hip flexor issue. The Guard had just 10 points, 8 TOs, and blanked in the 4th quarter in the last contest. Griffen is fighting a sprained knee and also banged up his hip in Game 2. The team shot just about 50% from the floor, was 9 of 13 from beyond the arc, and only missed 6 FTs and still got blown away in game 2. San Antonio has taken 3 of 4 (both SU and ATS) meetings over Los Angeles this season, including the L2 as a DD favorite. the thing with the Spurs is that their rotating 8 or 9 key players only played 25-37 minutes in the last game. They are not tired come late in the game. San Antonio has won 16 games in a row SU, going 14-1-1 ATS. They had their fifth DD win in the post-season alone. SA is 100% healthy and on any given night, any one of their top 8 players ( all averaging 9 PPG or more) can take a game on their shoulders. LA has missed the on-court leadership of Chancey Billups (out since February) and the injuries to Griffen and particularly Paul tell me that San Antonio will roll again today. The Spurs are 13-3 ATS their L16 games played vs. the Clippers, 6-1 ATS their L7 games played in LA, 17-6-3 ATS their L26 games played on the road, and 38-10-4 ATS their L52 games played overall. The Clippers are 1-4 ATS their L5 Conference Semi Final games, 2-6-2 ATS their L10 games played as a 'dog, 19-44-2 ATS their L65 games played vs. the NBA SW, and 1-3-1 ATS their L5 games played overall.
