Off a 6-1 win last night with Westbrook getting the best of an underdog role as a starter, which was unreal, the Cards offense is the difference. I stated this last night, Arizona’s offense is not near as good as St. Louis’s, and as a matter of fact of fact right now with an average of over 5 runs a game this year, the Cards offense is performing better than last years version which was good enough to win a World Series. Again the Cards start a good pitcher against another good pitcher, (Kennedy last night for D Backs), and again St. Louis will have the better run support as Kyle Lohse has a season ERA of 2.11 and will be difficult for the D Backs to rack up runs while the Cards bating lineup hits .287 as a team against Southpaws.
