The Brewers clearly hold the advantage on the mound with Gallardo, who is 2-0 lifetime in 2 starts at Petco Park where he's allowed a combined three runs and fanned 20 over 13 innings.

The Padres poor on-base percentage (.296) doesn't bode well for them here considering the Brewers are 22-5 in Gallardo's last 27 starts versus NL clubs with an on-base percentage .315 or worse. The Brewers have won these games by an average score of 6.3 to 3.0. In addition, the Brewers are 39-16 in Gallardo's last 55 starts as a favorite and 20-6 in his last 26 starts vs. a team with a losing record.

The Padres will send Jeff Suppan to the mound. Suppan hasn't made a start in the bigs since Oct. 4, 2010. I expect him to have plenty of kinks to work out tonight. We'll bet the Brew Crew.
