Ball State's 57-66 loss at IUPUI on Monday has set up a very strong play on the Cardinals as a small favorite against Morehead State. Ball State had won six straight prior to their loss against IUPUI, including two road wins and a win at home over Butler.

Morehead State comes in off a 64-45 win over Binghamton. It was just their second win in their last six games, the other coming against Mid-Continent. Neither one of those teams are close to the level of competition they will see in this game.

Last year Morehead State went on the road and beat Ball State 50-48. The Cardinals will be out for revenge, and will get it. Morehead State lost their two best players in Demonte Harper and Kenneth Faried, while Ball State returns pretty much their entire team from a year ago.
