Dallas currently sits in fifth place in the Western Conference standings, but are just 3-games ahead of Utah who is currently in 9th. The Mavericks simply can't afford to lose at home down the stretch. While the Clippers come in having won five straight, I think Dallas is showing great value.

All five of the Clippers wins came at home, where they are 20-8 on the season. Los Angeles is just 11-13 on the road and are just 1-5 in their last six road games overall.

In the Mavericks last game, they were able to erase an 9-point halftime deficit to beat the Magic 100-98. They outscored Orlando 29-20 in the final period, winning the game on a last second shot by Dirk Nowitzki. It was the kind of win the Mavericks needed to get things turned around. They come in off days rest and I look for Dallas to really pick up the pace down the stretch, starting with an easy win over the Clippers.
