The Penguins fit a tremendous power system that pertains to certain road favorites off a home favored loss, vs an opponent that is off back to back road dog wins. This is a right back rematch for Pittsburgh who has the #1 overall offense in the league and had won the first 4 meetings with the Islanders before laying an egg at home as a heavy favorite. While I understand they are not a pickem here, they are worth the price due to the undefeated system and their 10-3 March record. They have won 20 of the last 29 vs losing teams, while the Islanders have lost 5 of 6 in games when playing off 3 overs. Look for The Penguins to get the win tonight.



On Thursday the NIT Power play is on Minnesota. Game 710 at 7:00 eastern. The Gophers have a better record at 9-3 vs RPI Ranked teams from 51-100 than Stanford does at 5-4. They just took down a similar PAC 12 Team in Washington in a very gutsy win. They have covered 7 of the last 10 vs teams who allow 65 or less and are 35-7 off a non conference game and 16-1 vs non conference teams this season. In March they have covered all 7 games. Stanford is 2-10 to the spread in neutral games when the total 130 to 135. Look for Minnesota to take it.
