Today's winner is Cincinnati over Ohio State. This is my Syndicate Winner.
Six of Ohio State's seven losses have come at the hands of underdogs this season. Inconsistency and lack of team chemistry has made the Buckeye's look vulnerable this year. OSU does not have the long-range artillery to throw up shots from beyond the arc against this Cincy squad. Ohio State's top-player, Jared Sullinger will get his points, but the Forward will be slowed down by the 6'9", 265 lb, Yancy Gates. Gates style matches up well against Sullinger. The Bearcat's four Guard lineup will be able to convert in transition here. Cincinnati does possess a slew of capable shooters from three-point land. The starting five is all flirting with or averaging DDs. This is a unit that took down Pitt, Notre Dame, Georgetown twice, U Conn, West Virginia, St. John's, Louisville, Marquette, Syracuse, Texas, and Florida State. The Bearcat's are 8-3 ATS their L11 games played on neutral sites as a 'dog, 7-1 ATS their L8 games played vs. teams with a winning percentage of over .600, and 8-1 ATS their L9 games played overall. Take Cincinnati. Thank you.
