With Michigan State's loss at Indiana last night, Ohio State now has a shot at earning a share of the Big 10 title if they can beat Northwestern and knock off the Spartans on Saturday.
Ohio State absolutely dominated the Wildcats in their earlier matchup, crushing Northwestern 87-54. In that game the Wildcats had no answer for William Bufford and Jared Sullinger. Bufford went off for 28-points, while Sullinger dropped in 17 points and grabbed 14 rebounds.
The Wildcats really have no one who can guard Sullinger. Northwestern head coach Bill Carmody was quoted saying "We don't have anyone to stop Sullinger in the low post." and "It starts with Sullinger and we'll have to figure out what to do with that guy. I'm not thinking about the offense as much as how we're going to stop that guy."
Ohio State is 12-3 ATS after playing 2 consecutive games as a home favorite over the last 2 seasons and a perfect 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. loss. BET OHIO STATE!
