Today's winner is EWU over UCLA. This is my ODDS MAKERS MISTAKE PLAY.
EWU isn't very well known but they are truly underrated. The Eagles covered their first five games, with wins at Hawaii and Idaho. They went to the mat against both Gonzaga and Oregon. This is a team that is averaging 74.9 PPG, with 4 players posting DDs each game. Forward, Collin Chiverton is scoring 20.2 PPG. He leads a deep squad that has speed, physicality, can rebound, steal, and are incredible from the line. They play a motion offense that will prove to be too fast for the "slowish" UCLA "D". The Bruins have problems. They started the season with losses to Loyola Marymount and Middle Tennessee State, as favorites of 14 and 11. They are just 2-6 ATS on the season and are being outscored by an average of 1.8 PPG. Forward, Reeves Nelson is suspended/off the team for insubordination. They are a dismal 1-3 SU at home. The Eagles are 8-2 ATS their L10 games played overall, 9-2 ATS their L11 games played as a road 'dog, and 5-2 ATS their L7 non-Conference games. The Bruins are 1-4 ATS their L5 games played overall, 1-5 ATS their L6 games played as a home favorite, and 1-7 ATS their L8 non-Conference games. Take EWU. Thank you.
