4* NBA LATE-NIGHT BOOKIE REVENGE
San Antonio vs. Portland,
02/21/2012 22:00 EDT,
Score: 97 - 137
Point Spread: -3½/-110 Portland
The Trail Blazers came out flat and really got it handed to them by the Lakers in front of a national audience on TNT. It's going to be extremely hard for the public to back Portland against the red-hot Spurs who just won their 11th consecutive game last night in Utah.
I believe that has Portland showing some incredible value as a small 3.5-point home favorite. This is the Spurs 8th road game in a row and the third in the last four days. If there is a time San Antonio slows down its in a back-to-back set going from Utah to Portland.
The Trail Blazers are 12-5 at home compared to 5-11 on the road, which is why you can't read too much into their performance against the Lakers last night.
Portland is 9-1 ATS in their last 10 games following a ATS loss, 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games following a S.U. loss, and 18-7-2 ATS in their last 27 games as a home favorite. BET THE TRAIL BLAZERS!
