Result: Win

Today's winner is Marquette over Connecticut. This is my LATE INFO PLAY.

U Conn is struggling, as the Huskies lost 6 of their L8 both SU and ATS, including 3 games in which they were favored (Cincy, Tennessee, and Notre Dame). Since losing Center, Chris Otule to injury, Connecticut is 6-10 against the number. Let's face it, they beat the doormat of the league in DePaul as their only confidence-booster recently. The units shooting is way "off" while their "D" has yielded 80 and 85 points in their L2 contests to both Louisville and Syracuse. Marquette has won 9 of their L10 SU, going 7-3 ATS. It looks like Forward, Davante Gardner (6'8" 290 lb) should be back after a 4 game lay-off with a knee issue. Speaking of injuries, both Drummond and Lamb are banged-up for the Huskies. The Golden Eagles style of play is striking fear in their opponents. Johnson-Odom is among the nation's best players, averaging 18.4 PPG. Don't forget about Crowder who has contributed 16.1 PPG and 7.6 RPG and gives 110% every contest. The road team is 4-0 ATS their L4 meetings. The Golden Eagles are 20-6 ATS their L26 games played as a road 'dog, 5-1 ATS their L6 road games overall, and 9-3 ATS their L12 games played vs. the Big East. The Huskies are 2-6 ATS their L8 games played overall, 1-5 ATS their L6 games played against teams with a winning record, and 2-5 ATS their L7 games vs. the Big East. Take Marquette. Thank you.
