Today's winner is Ohio State over Purdue. This is my NCAAB Pure Lock Winner.
Ohio State is 20-3 SU on the season, 16-0 at home, 8-2 ATS in Conference play, and is riding a 5 game win and cover streak. The Buckeyes are outscoring opponents by an average of 21.1 PPG. 6'9", 280 lb. Center, Jared Sullinger will go uncontested in the paint and add to his already-impressive 17.4 PPG and 9.1 RPG. Purdue has no other choice but to double and perhaps even triple him up, which will allow the OSU supporting cast of Buford and Thomas (29.6 PPG, 9.1 RPG, and 95 combined steals) to exploit their smaller Boilermaker counterparts. Purdue has lost 3 of their L4 SU and failed to cover 5of their overall L6. This unit keeps sinking further as they come off of a 78-61 thumping by Indiana at home as a 3 1/2 point favorite. Outside of Robbie Hummel, the Boilermakers don't possess a single consistent player. Purdue is 6-13-1 ATS their L20 games played vs. Ohio State, 1-5ATS their L6 games played vs. the Big Ten, and 1-5 ATS their L6games played vs. teams with a winning record. Ohio State is 6-0 ATS their L6 games played at home, 5-0 ATS their L5 games played against the Big Ten, and 4-0 ATS their L4 games against teams with a winning record. Take the Buckeyes. Thank you.
