Result: Win

Today's winner is Marquette over Depaul. This is my 10 Dime Winner.

Marquette comes into this matchup looking to take out some frustration and vengeance on Depaul, truly needing to make a real example out of the Blue Demons. The Golden Eagles started the season 10-0 then struggled a few games, only to then run off 7 straight victories. Then as a 2 1/2 point favorite, Marquette fell flat to Notre Dame on Saturday. Prior to that meeting against the Irish, the Eagles racked up 7 straight wins over Big East opponents. They rank #2 in the Conference in scoring at 75.4 PPG. This squad is well-coached, fast-paced, and very disciplined. Both Johnson-Odom and Crowder lead the unit. The duo combines for 34.0 PPG and 11.0 RPG. Overall the two leaders have amassed 112 assists, 81 steals, and both shoot around 75% from the line. Both are dangerous "inside" but are absolutely fatal from the perimeter. Prior to their last game, Marquette covered 7 of their L9, including 4 straight road contests. Let's face it, DePaul's weaknesses are widely-known. The Blue Demons allow 75.1 PPG and have given up 81 or more 9 times this season. Just in their L2 outings, the Depaul "D" let St. Johns successfully shoot 50% and Cincinnati claim 45% from the floor. They are seriously out-manned on top, on the wings, and in transition here. The favorite is 13-5 ATS the L18 meetings between these 2 teams. The Blue Demons are 4-10-1 ATS their L15 games played vs. the Big East and 0-5 ATS their L5 games following an ATS win. The Golden Eagles are 7-3 ATS their L10 games played vs. the Big East and 38-18-1 ATS their L57 games played on the road against teams with a winning home record. Take Marquette. Thank you.
