So much is being made about the Giants pass rush and how they are going to allow the Giants to win this game. The thing that this game comes down to is revenge. The Giants ruined the Patriots perfect season in 2007 and upset them at home this year. If there is any tandem in the NFL that I would take in a revenge situation of this magnitude, it's Bill Belichick and Tom Brady.

While the Giants defense is getting a ton of praise going into the game, I think the Patriots defense is going to surprise a lot of people by how well they play in this game. Belichick is one of the best defensive minded coaches in the NFL, and any time you give him two weeks to prepare for one team he usually puts together a pretty damn good game plan.

At the same time the extra week helps New England, I actually think it hurts the Giants. New York really put a strong of 5 straight games of playing their best football. A little bit of that momentum will be lost with the extra week off and all the hoopla surrounding the Super Bowl.

When it's all said and done, New England 34, New York 27. BET THE PATRIOTS!
