*3 Star NCAA BB Play of the Day* Boston College is terrible this season. The Eagles are 2-6, and they haven't played a tough schedule at all. Boston College lost by 22 at Holy Cross in their only road game of the season thus far. They were beaten by 14 at home by a mediocre Boston University team. They were also thrashed by 36 points at home against UMass. Providence is far from a great team, but they don't have to be great to win this one with ease. The Friars have multiple scoring options, and they can really get out in transition. Providence is strong on the glass, and that is a major problem for Boston College. Look for the Friars to get a lot of second chance points in this one. I think Providence covers the spread here.
