While the Nets got absolutely crushed at home 78-94 by the Toronto Raptors on Sunday, I wouldn't read too much into that game. New Jersey had an absolutely horrible night from the field, shooting just 36.5%. Prior to that loss the Cavaliers had won four of their last six games, including two of three on the road.

The Pacers have been one of the big surprises to start the season, but I think they are getting way to much credit in this game. Indiana is coming off a brutal three game road trip against Chicago, Boston, and Orlando. While they return home, they will head right back out on the road after this game.

A lot of people will look at the Pacers 108-94 win over the Nets earlier this season, and quickly jump on Indiana. I find it very interesting that the Pacers were favored by just 6.5-points at home the first time around and are now laying 9.5-points. This is a better New Jersey team than the one they faced earlier this season. I'd don't know that they will have enough to win the game, but I expect them to be extremely motivated and keep this game within double-digits.

As good as Indiana has been, they have been a great team to fade after a win. The Pacers are just 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games following a S.U. win and only 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a SU win of more than 10 points. The Nets on the other hand are great to back after a loss, as they are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games following a S.U. loss. BET NEW JERSEY!
