They lost at home to Indiana 68-72 followed by back-to-back road losses at Ohio State and Michigan. The loss to Indiana was their their only defeat at home all season. Each of the Spartans three previous home games had all resulted in wins by at least 5 points, including a 23-point blowout win over the Wolverines. This is a game Michigan State desperately needs to have to get back some momentum heading into the Big Ten Tournament and NCAA tournament.
