The Philadelphia Flyers host the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday. The Flyers are coming off a 4-2 loss to the Rangers, while the Penguins beat the Lightning their last time out, 4-3.

Philadelphia struggled out of the gates, largely due to a road-heavy schedule to start the season. Because of that, the public has a low opinion of the Flyers at the moment. However, they have been a completely different team at the Wells Fargo Center. Philadelphia has won seven of their last 10 home games, including four of their last six.

Jakub Voracek has been a revelation for the Flyers this season. He has recorded 17 points in his last nine games and 24 points in his last 16 games. He has recorded seven goals and 13 points in his last 10 games against Pittsburgh, including a hat trick in the most recent meeting on February 20th.

Pittsburgh has lost two of their last three road contests, largely due to woeful play between the pipes. The team has allowed 16 goals in those three road games, needing seven goals to get past Montreal in their lone win. They allowed six goals in a losing effort the last time these teams met.
