The Detroit Pistons host the Atlanta Hawks on Monday. Detroit is coming off a 90-72 loss to Indiana, while Atlanta beat Milwaukee their last time out, 103-102.

Atlanta has won six of their last eight meetings with Detroit. The Pistons scraped together a pair of one-point wins over the Hawks, but in their six wins Atlanta beat Detroit by an average of 12.2 points. The Hawks have won three consecutive road games.

There was some concern entering the season about the team’s lack of a true, No. 1 point guard, but few teams have distributed the ball better than Atlanta, with the team handing out at least 26 assists in each of their last eight games.

Detroit is coming off a pair of embarrassing losses to Indiana, getting outscored by 50 points in the home-and-home series, and it is no coincidence that they struggled to score with Brandon Knight missing each contest.

He’ll be out for this one, as will Will Bynum who was suspended by the league. That will leave Detroit very thin in the backcourt. Bynum was the team’s leading scorer in their last game against Indiana.

The Hawks are 6-1 ATS in their last seven road games. Take Atlanta.
