The Chicago Blackhawks host the Edmonton Oilers on Monday. Chicago is coming off a 1-0 win over Columbus, while Edmonton beat Phoenix in a shootout their last time out, 3-2.

While the headlines from Sunday’s game against Columbus show that Chicago was able to continue their streak, a closer look shows that the Blackhawks were actually out-played by a lousy Blue Jackets team.

He’s posted a 1.89 GAA and a .942 save percentage since taking over for the struggling Devan Dubnyk. The team’s leading point-getter, Sam Gagner, has recorded four points in his last four games. He racked up nine points in his final two meetings with Chicago last season.
