There are still a couple BracketBuster games to be played today, and this is one of them. South Dakota from the Summit League will take on Montana State from the Big Sky Conference.

While the Summit League isn’t a terribly strong conference, I do rate them as better than the Big Sky. Summit League representatives Nebraska Omaha and IP Fort Wayne both had nice wins yesterday.

The Big Sky Conference is loaded with teams who simply can’t play any defense. Montana State is one of those teams. The Bobcats are terrible on the defensive end, so they are forced to outscore their opponent.

South Dakota isn’t good on the defensive end either, but they are a much more efficient offense than Montana State.

South Dakota has several very good shooters from the outside, and they really knock down their free throws.

They should get plenty of open looks from three and lots of trips to the free throw line against a Montana State team that fouls early and often.

South Dakota has a reasonable shot to win straight up here, so I’ll snatch up the points. Take South Dakota.
