Result: Loss

Today's winner is Michigan State over Ohio State. This is my Big Ten 97% Angle winner of the Month.

Michigan State is the most prepared unit in the nation. The Spartans play another Top 25 team in less than a week, then go off to face Ohio State next. No sandwich situation here as Tom Izzo has the team in sync. MSU thumped Michigan 75-52 less than two weeks ago. That contest was one of five straight in which the Green and White oppose all four top Big Ten squads. MSU fell from first place with a loss to Indiana after winning 22 of their L25 SU. They are 4-0 ATS their L4 games played on the road. Frosh, Gary Harris is one of the school's best freshman since Magic Johnson. Adrein Payne can do it all. The Center is hitting 56% beyond the arc, posting 9.8 PPG, pulling down 7.0 RPG, and boy can he block. Nix, Payne, and Dawson are combining for just under 20 boards per game. When it comes to steals, this bunch could be charged with theft they are so good. Ohio State lost 3 of their L5 SU and are 2-4 ATS their L6, including a 1-2 home mark against the number. Then Buckeyes got recently got shellacked by both the Badgers, 71-49 and the Sycamores, 81-68. Three of the last four meetings in this series was settled by 4 points or less. As MSU won and covered the L2, including a 59-56 victory in January. Outside of DeShaun Thomas, the Buckeyes team is mediocre. Overall, they lack the interior dominators to compete here. The Road Team is 16-5-1 ATS their L22 meetings while the 'Dog is 12-3-1 over the L16. The Spartans are 8-1 ATS their L9 games played at the Buckeyes. Take Michigan State. Thank you.
