Today's winner is New England over Denver.
Tebowmania has brought itself into the post-season. Denver hasn't really improved anywhere but in sacks allowed and TOs. Last week they faced a hobbled Pittsburgh team on both sides of the ball. Prior to their win LW over the Steelers, the Broncos lost 3 in a row to the Patriots, Bills, and Chiefs. Two of those games, they were favored. There is only so far drive and luck can take you. Remember that Denver only averages 19.3 PPG and is 31st in the NFL in passing yardage at 152.1 YPG in the air. Their defense gives up a lot of points and is 18th against the pass (231.5 YPG), and 22nd against the run (126.3 YPG). Please note that WR, Eric Decker is most-likely out. Decker is their leading receiver. New England flattened Denver in Week 15, 41-23. And that was on the road. Bill Belichik is one of the best coaches in history at preparing his squad. With a week off, this unit is ready. QB, Tom Brady has amassed 5239 YP and 39 TDs. The offense posts 32.1 PPG while their defense allows just 21.4 PPG. Several key defenders have gotten healthy over recent weeks. NE has a huge advantage in playoff experience in this matchup. Lest not forget that ex-Broncos coach, Josh McDaniels , who drafted Tebow and Thomas, joined the Patriots staff last week. Take New England. Thank you.
