The Giants are healthier, more confident and playing better football than they were when they took Green Bay down to the wire on Dec. 4. With Eli Manning, Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks, the Giants certainly have the weapons to take a Green Bay team that finished the regular season ranked dead last in the NFL against the pass down to the wire again.
Cruz and Nicks both had big games in the first meeting combining for 21 catches for 207 yards and 2 scores. I don't see the Packers having an answer for this tandem.
The Giants' pass rush, which was so instrumental in its Super Bowl run a few years ago, is back performing at a high level. With Jason Pierre-Paul, Justin Tuck and Osi Umenyiora as healthy as they've been all season, I expect them to be able to apply pressure to Aaron Rodgers. They certainly won't get to Rodgers every time, but they'll get to him enough to put a hitch in Green Bay's normally well-oiled offense.
The Giants are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 playoff road games, 6-0 ATS in their last 6 playoff games as an underdog and 5-0 ATS in their last 6 games versus a team with a winning record. We'll take the points.
