The Knicks defensive play of late has this total well below where it should be. New York has seen the total go under in four straight games, including last night's 85-79 win at home over Philadelphia.

That game against the 76ers was a huge game for the Knicks, as they wanted to send their division rivals a message. I have a hard time seeing the Knicks put forth that kind of defense in the second game of a back-to-back, especially with another huge game against the Thunder coming up on Saturday.

The Grizzlies have watched the total go under in three of their last four games, but all three unders came on the road. Memphis is averaging 104 ppg at home this season, which has resulted in the total going over in all four games.

Without Zach Randolph the Grizzlies lose a huge piece of their half-court offense, which I believe will have them pushing the tempo against a tired Knicks club. At the same time I expect the Knicks to put on a show offensively with this game being played on TNT.
