Result: Win
Saturday's winner is Houston over Cincinnati. This is my NFL WC Game of the Year.
Houston has won and covered 4 straight over Cincy, including LYs 31-10 WC matchup. The number is low here because Houston has dropped 3 of their L4 both SU and ATS while Cincinnati has won and covered 7 of their L8. Don't be fooled the Bengals had an easy schedule. Stats show the Bengal offense ranks 22nd in FDs and has problems against teams with a solid pass rush. RB, Green-Ellis is hampered by a sore hamstring and is not at full strength. Dalton has been sacked 46 times and now the Leagues 3rd best sack corps will eat him alive. Houston has a very good OL and three of the best position players in the NFL. QB, Schaub has 4008 YP and 22 TDs, and big-game experience. RB, Foster rushed for 1424 yards and a league-leading 17 TDs. And WR Johnson hauled in 1598 YR. The pair of him and Daniels are fatal to any secondary. In LYs playoff contest, Foster ran for 153 yards and 2 TDs while Dalton was picked-off 3 times. The Bengals are 0-5 ATS their L5 meetings against the Texans, 2-6-1 ATS their L9 games played vs. teams with a winning record, and 1-6 ATS their L7 games played in January. The Texans are 18-7-2 ATS their L27 games played vs. the AFC, 8-3-1 ATS their L12 games played vs. teams with a winning record, and 11-5-2 ATS their L18 games played at home. Take Houston. Thank you.
